Thai-American chefs and mixologist in Los Angeles coming together for a night pop-up collaborative dinner inspired by dishes and drinks that evokes happy childhood food memories of celebration and family. Each dish has a story, and we're excited to share them. 

Drinks and food will be served á la carte. Menu will feature one dish from each chef (subject to change, as we're still finalizing): 

  • Curry Crab (by Chef Vanda): soft shell crab, duck egg, uni, coconut milk, curry powder, chili paste
  • Pork Toro (by Chef June): grilled Peads & Barnetts pork collar with northern Thai Nam Prik Num chili relish  
  • Northern Thai Vermicelli Noodles (by Chef Dan): Kanom Jeen Nam Ngiaw Pork with minced pork curry, pork blood, and tomatoes served with rice vermicelli
  • Khao Yum (by Chef Alisa): market vegetables, naam sausage, toasted coconut, fried shallot, fish sauce vinaigrette
  • Kitty Rice, Khao Maow (by Chef Deau), Fried Mackerel Rice Ball: marinated rice with mushroom soy sauce and rice vinegar, pounded fried mackerel, topped with mackerel flakes, culantro/cilantro, and finger lime. Nam Prik Pla Tu: grilled mackerel, bird’s eye chili, garlic, shallots pounded together and serve with endive, cilantro, and fresh ginger. Grilled skewered chili and tomatoes. Pickled Bitter melon and radish. 
  • “Born in the '90s” Birthday Cake (by Chef Cathy): layers of pandan chiffon cake with whipped coconut frosting, and pomegranate jam
  • *Night in Bangkok* Cocktail (by Mixologist Joy) Johnny Walker Black Label, cha manow (Thai tea with lime juice), gooseberry marigold base
  • *The Monkey* Cocktail (by Mixologist Joy) Captain Morgan, Harmless Harvest Coconut Water, lemon juice, peach passionfruit base 
  • Peach Passionfruit Yuzunade (by Mixologist Joy): non-alcoholic drink 

Reserve tables for outdoor patio dining at 5:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. for $5 per person. Reservation fee is not refundable and will be applied toward your dinner bill. 

Pre-order pick-up must be picked up at Ayara Thai anytime between 5:30-7:30  p.m. on Thursday 11/04.
